The Use of Dry Chemical Fire Systems
November 29th, 2011
dry chemical fire systems are very useful as far as electrical fires are concerned. These systems are widely used as Class D fire safety products. These can also be used for Class A, B even C safety equipment, depending on the agent being used in the dry chemical fire systems. These products generally spray out a layer of powder or dust on the fire and cut out the oxygen supply. This extinguishes the fire completely and very quickly. They are generally harmless to the environment and do not pose to be a risk to human health. Even if your building is equipped with automated fire suppression systems, dry chemical fire systems can prove to be very important when a quick resolution is required to prevent the fire getting out of control.
