Unlimited Plans

September 29th, 2011

As time has passed and technology has become more popular in the smartphone sector, providers have realized they have begun to lose money with unlimited plans. The unlimited Verizon wireless data plan was removed due to the network having too many users at one time constantly downloading. The carrier decided to charge per gigabyte for users to have this service each month. For every gigabyte over their allotted usage plan amount, an additional charge would be accrued. Basic phones have a minimum of ten dollars a month charged for data plans. For every seventy-five megabytes over the seventy-five megabytes allows each month a ten dollar fee is added to a user’s bill. A user may receive up to twelve gigabytes in a data plan for one hundred dollars a month.  The user will accrue a ten dollar fee for every gigabyte over the twelve gigabytes in the plan.
